  • Altar Servers:  We welcome boys and girls in the parish, 6th grade and over, to become Altar Servers. A training program is required prior to exercising this important ministry. Contact:  636-561-6611

  • Eucharistic Ministry to the Sick:  Eucharistic ministers bring the Eucharist and good cheer to parishioners who are homebound, in nursing care facilities or hospitalized.   • Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion: Those who serve in this ministry are trained and commissioned to help with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass as needed. They may also volunteer to take the Blessed Sacrament to our homebound and to others unable to attend Mass on a regular basis. Contact: Amy Kortkamp 636-561-6611 x500 chris.mcnamara@icdparish.org
  • Greeters: Our greeters serve as ministers of hospitality at a particular Mass. They greet each person as they enter the Church, handing out missalettes and smiles, and are responsible for finding someone to bring up the offertory gifts at that Mass.   • Lectors: This is a ministry of proclamation of the Word of God. One does not have to be an eloquent public speaker to be a lector. Adults and young adults of high school age are encouraged to be lectors. Training is provided. Contact: Barb Morgan  636-561-1974  barb.morgan@icdparish.org

  • Mass Captains: Mass Captains serve as Sacristans at a Sunday Mass of their choice—usually 1-2 times a month on a rotating basis. They are the contact person for all other Liturgical Ministers serving at that Mass and oversee that everything is in order for the proper celebration of the Liturgy.   • Ushers: Ushers serve as ministers of hospitality at a particular Mass. They give assistance with seating, first aid and other needs, and take up the collection.
